I bought a used BMW. It’s bittersweet. I don’t recommend anyone who does to buy it as their main reliable source of transportation because literally ANYTHING can break. Lol my windows wouldn’t slide back up in the middle of a storm. Not one but two windows

Exactly, most of them are legit rolling piles of junk past 60-70k miles, the only ones that are somewhat decent are the ones with Inline-6 engines, and even then they are notoriously bad.
That's why I always advise people to go lease them if they want one, that way the warranties will fix everything for them.
You're right about not being main sources of transportation, theres an old saying in the book man "those who own the most expensive cars are OFTEN the poorest"

- if you lease a new car it has to be a brand that's unreliable. BMW Mercedes, HELL EVEN a Nissan man like you said. If it was something like Lexus/Toyota/Acura/Honda it's a different story since they are known for reliability and wont break the bank, you'd be getting a better deal just buying it up front.
