WHY are YOU working a job where you feel RELIEF upon being FIRED?
when I worked ay Walmart I had so many co workers get fired tho. But if you want relief just quit tbh
the "These jobs aren't meant to be your career, they're entry level jobs 'meant for high schoolers who need a summer job'" type argument,
Meanwhile it's all people can get a lot of times, they don't have many options or choices so they gotta keep these jobs to keep afloat.
Don't act like everyone who works at lower-paid places can just up and leave and has all this mobility, especially if they're responsible for a family
If there is someone who has to provide for a family working minimum wage, what’s stopping them from trying to work their way up into a supervisory position to up their income. These jobs have high turnover, so there is bound to be frequent job openings. There are higher paying retail jobs as well. Why not keep applying until they get somewhere that pays higher (and treats them better hopefully)
The question was being ignored, sorry for the caps
People had no answer outside of it doesn’t matter when it comes to Walmart
Which is bullshit.
the question wasn’t ignored. multiple people replied and quoted you
people take jobs that they don’t like all of the time because they have bills to pay and better jobs aren’t always available. it’s called being an adult. some s*** you don’t like but you suck it up and do what you gotta do anyway until it no longer works for you anymore. that’s how the real world works.
if OP’s manager was enough of a d*** to fire him for something so trivial, it’s probably best that he’s not there anymore. it’s not like it was going to be his career

Not every life situation progresses logically with no wrenches thrown in the works

Taking jobs you don’t like is cool
But we not gonna act like Walmart is the only path.
like yeah maybe I am ringing up a SAMSUNG 65" Class 4K Crystal UHD (2160P) LED Smart TV with HDR UN65TU7000 2020 as a bag of bananas in the self-checkout but don't be so loud about it!

for some people in certain circumstances, yes it is. you sound very uninformed in regards to a lot of people’s life experiences

I ain't even sure what either side of this argument is arguing for now.
Are we completely detached from walmart
Are both sides putting words in the other's mouth that no one even said?

You’re assuming
Don’t f***ing do that
You don’t know s*** about what I’ve seen
Or the life I’ve lived
I don’t accept mediocrity and I don’t accept victim mindset
Niggas like you are poisonous to @op
Now don’t quote me again.
You won’t grow until you want to give a f***
About everything you put your name on
F*** that. You put in the effort that you’re reciprocated for, especially when it comes to multi-billionaire dollar corporations that actively refuse to pay you a livable wage, and in fact lobby and ensure the prevention of legislation being passed in order to prevent such things from happening.
Alongside anti-union propaganda and the like being pushed on young workers to ensure that they continue to be exploited.

Keep this mindset see how far you get
Wait synop is a manager at Walmart????
No way
that would be hilarious if we found out he was like a real estate agent or some s*** lol
This generation wants to be compensated for every little f***ing ounce of thought they might put into working another shift or two
Broke mindset
My work ethic is second to none I'm just not stupid and going to get exploited for peanuts it's called knowing your worth. I'm at a point where I'm literally the s*** at what i do and ain't nobody f***ing with me I go to job interviews and tell them this. I tell them to call past employers at jobs I gave a f*** about and ask about me. I don't even put those trash menial jobs on my resume.
I get what you’re saying, the way I see it I just try my best at anything I work on. I never go out of my way to please my boss or anything, I just get personal satisfaction from doing a great job at something. An added bonus is that employers like that. I’m never letting myself get exploited for some company though
What ever happened to that KTT1 dude who was caught sleeping inside the shelves, classic thread
