Sign the contract. You know the saying: when life grabs you by the hips, take the pounding like a man
It's hard af out here man, I wish I could tell you right from wrong. I'm also getting f***ed in my job but I get to leave in March.
I guess the best option is stick with this until you find the next thing and then leave, it's not like you owe them s***. You're just there to get a couple checks unless they prove they're a good employer
how can you not leave your job? how is that legal? never had to deal with this contract s*** for my career so im curious
depending on the industry, probationary period on contract before hire isn't uncommon. However you need to ensure it's a probation and not a permanent position; the specific period needs to be enshrined in the offer contract.
this is normal
often times the contract position pays more too
if you’re a good worker they’ll most likely convert you to a direct hire in 3-4 months anyway
Don't fall for the name bro, fund a good job with good people big companies are usually trash
Lol yeah. Been a fun journey. I started a business, realized that I’m more than my job title, and had some time to reflect and figure out what I want out of life.
Also going on interviews have forced me to talk about myself positively, so now I see my worth more. Like it’s weird my self esteem has gone up but my lifestyle has gone down.
Can’t wait to see what comes next
Man life is an illusion anyway do what u want who cares what happens

I like to imagine that I'll fight to the death
id be careful about ppl telling you to do it until something better comes up until you know more about the contract. i almost did something similar and then i read reviews from people who worked there saying they didn't want to relocate (which was mentioned as a possibility in part of the contract) and quit after the training & then got charged 10k for training expenses
You got charged for learning??
