I used to get mad over very trivial stuff, mostly at myself or things rather then people but that's besides the point
You gotta catch it before it gets to the point where you can't control yourself
Idk how to explain it but you gotta just stop yourself from being mad or just think about the situation for a second and evaluate if you are over reacting and calm yourself down
It's definitely not easy but with time it'll get smoother and you'll just do it without realizing it
