apparently sparing your uncle is canon because Jin’s storyline is supposed to be that he doesn’t agree with the traditions. That’s what the developer said, and I think they’ll make a sequel. I’m wondering if you’re right and that means in tsushima 2 we see the shogun kill uncle or force him to commit seppuku

You got a source cause that's the only question I was left hanging with. If the shogun wanted Shimura to kill Jin then when he shows up with no Jin he's not gonna make it. (If the spare ending is canon)

The creative director of ghost of Tsushima talks about the choice to kill/spare him in this interview

he basically said that sparing uncle is the “true” ending but that personally he kills uncle because he likes uncle and wants to give him what he wants (to die)

Same before Act 3 I was getting them every single time and couldn’t land any for the life of me once in Act 3.

With that being said I beat it today . Collected almost everything but don’t really see myself 100% for cosmetics/ sword kits. Stuck with a lot of the same fit/kit throughout my play through.
