I actually kind of dislike the main story of this game the more I play. The combat, expiration, environment and all of that is 10/10 masterpiece but not enjoying the main narrative at all really
It's over. I beat the game. Got about 65 hours in total with side quests and main quest but it still felt short cus a lot of it was me trying to do side quests, finding gear and upgrades. Overall a great, polished experience from start to finish. Death Stranding 2 is still my GOTY 2025 but this is was a pleasant surprise and ends up number two on my list for 2025.
the bounty hunter armor maxed out is the only reason im winning duels on lethal
I find that it definitely does raise the window of the perfect parry like it says, but it still feels like the timing is super inconsistent
I be pressing the button at the same moments before the blue attacks and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t
I hope in the 3rd game they have us playing as some cold-blooded killer morally ambiguous type.. bring back the infamous morality system too. It would be a nice change to play as someone who isn’t necessarily a good guy
Just walking around this world looks so relaxing…
This is the most beautiful and appealing landscapes I ever seen in a video game I think.
I ain’t spending 80 though, I’ll be patient
I feel like the weapon switching doesn’t feel all that great, it’s more of a nuisance than anything. I’m trying to focus on dodging and parrying and then on top of that I need to hold R2 down while I make my selection. I think combat would’ve been more interesting if your weapon choice didn’t matter at all and it was purely up to player freedom.

gonna need a choice/morality system next game. this style is stale at this point. i love this game but having finished it i do think tsushima had a better story
kitsune had that s*** on
Half my reason for playing this game is for drip collecting and aura farming and it’s perfect
Every time I think I’m doing something, I get humbled by a f***ing bear every time

I tried to Jump over a bear with my horse and got swatted out of the air lmao

Big agree

I need more dismemberment tbh.
But yeh it would be interesting to get someone who's not always about helping every single person they come across
What drip is this

finally someone said this, the stances in GOT were way better
finally someone said this, the stances in GOT were way better
in a perfect world they would've had both systems present here tbh
Love how organic everything feels in this game. Just constantly stumbling onto things that offer whole new mechanics, or give details that feedback into the main story.
Very RDR2 esque.

It should just slow time while your switching weapons like Horizon
I'm taking my sweet time with the main story and enjoying myself. As expected, the story, combat and relaxing vibes are the main draw so far. My major complaint so far is they haven't improved or differentiated the enemy base liberation system from Tsushima's. My other issue is with the cooking system being too bare bones. For a game whose design is so focused on being aesthetically pleasing, the food should look better.
I’m unimpressed with the ending, which is a huge bummer because the Tsushima ending was very impactful and memorable
I love this game so much
I can’t make it anywhere without getting side tracked by something else lol
Also this game is much harder, I’m only on hard mode and I’ve lost a lot of fights on the first try, the parry window feels alot smaller but it’s still a lot of fun
