Not releasing on pc
RIP I guess
Finished the main game. This is the most 8/10 game imaginable. A good sequel in another gorgeous world, improved combat and senior game design, it checks all the right boxes for a Playstation flagship game. But that denominator is exactly what holds it back, it's so accessible and predictable I never emotionally resonated with Atsu's hunt. Defeated Lord Saito and I was like 'good, finally'.
Must be played on hard mode for somewhat of a challenge. Otherwise this is too casual for me.

you right about everything except it‘s a 7 at best
is it different from the first one?
Didn’t play a ton of the first tbh but I’m loving this so far

It’s the same concept. Co-op story missions and survival based modes. They definitely expanded on the mechanics but it’s the same gameplay loop.
Do missions/survival -> get better/higher level gear -> do harder missions/survival
4 classes. Tanky samurai, archer, mercenary (basically ronin from 1st), and assassin. They each get access to 3 different weapons
People genuinely lack brain cells online man
why are you doing a platinum difficulty mission and willfully choosing the hardest challenge card as if s*** isn’t already barely possible
Archer is the OP class again in multiplayer btw lmao.
Mercenary got the best drip and a lot of people seem to be picking it, definitely has a great kit too but fundamentally the fact that arrows and bullets can not be blocked means you kill enemies so much quicker vs having to actually engage them in melee and break their stagger (often multiple times on higher difficulties with every enemy being difficult).
Completed the weekly nightmare survival, two of us as archers and then 1 samurai 1 merc. Us archers had the most kills by a long shot. But it’s still invaluable having a class or two that can survive and hold down a point while the archers focus on DPS.
Finally pulled the trigger on this. Let’s eat
3 hours in and I’m enjoying the story so far more than Tsushima tbh. I was worried because I read from many that the story was weaker. Overall finding it much better overall

I liked it more tbh. Story isnt amazing but I liked it more for sure.

Gameplay vids I watched didn’t do it justice that’s why I held off on it so long. Find the combat to be really fun and graphics to have a slight upgrade for sure as well
and yeah idk the revenge story is working for me really well. It’s still early but Jin’s story never really had me super engaged tbh
Is this playable solo?
Can’t believe I was sleeping on this at launch
Feel like a AC2 level jump
Just got to the mountain
Just bought this for $40
Just bought this for $40
Never gonna play it
This finally clicked with me last night. Months of obsessive Arc Raiding has finally made me yearn for something more user-friendly.
Took us 6 hours to clear
One of the bosses on this new update is hard to get to and even harder to beat
I’m DUNZO with this game
