I read that the lip movement is synched with the English voices which is a bummer. Still gonna start in Japanese, but if it gets to annoying and out of sync I'll switch to English

I get that but it would get pretty annoying to be looking down at the screen to read what they’re saying the entire game.

Fair enough, whenever I’m watching movies/games with subtitles I take a quick look at them to capture the entire sentence and then direct my attention back to the scene

That’s fair, and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to play the game in English. In my own experience it’s never been a detriment to use subtitles though so I’ll be sticking with that
