The island is VERY densely packed. Everywhere you go there’s some enemy camp or a farmstead that’s been taken over, or maybe a friendly town/campsite where you can trade and upgrade armor/weapons, or some jumping puzzle or a scenic landscape where you can write a haiku, which is an interesting feature or some side mission or some random encounter like people on the road needing help or maybe an ambush
