How tf do you got around castle Kanada in act 2? I’m having to fast travel around it
did you do fate of tsushima already?
Yeah same with BoTW, the camera was something that never crossed my mind playing it. If I got caught at a bad angle I could just rotate it. It’s not bad enough to where I can’t enjoy GoT, but it does make me wanna slam the controller lol
Edit: just thought about a lack or targeting is probably a big reason why the camera is iffy

Idk I literally just started act 2 and did the village mission

Oh yeah you gotta wait I think, once you get to that mission it’ll open up. It’s a “long tale” so you’ll know, it’ll ask if you wanna continue or save for later

Ah cool

Haven’t played GoT but from watching it I think that is also the issue.
In BOTW it was a similar camera but it’s so easy to lock on, jump around and hit enemies it’s really not an issue. I think if this game had that similar feature it would be alright

I agree, it would make combat that more intuitive when in confined spaces or fighting multiple enemies at once.

I’m sure this game will get a sequel of some sort considering it seems like it’s gotten a lot of positive praise from fans and critics outside of issues like this so I would imagine they’re gonna look into fine tuning the combat and camera stuff. The stances and s*** looks hella cool and switching mid combat depending on the enemy type seems super natural and easy.
If I end up copping a PS5 I’m definitely going to play this

Oh yeah the positives definitely outweigh the negatives. I really do enjoy combat when I can see properly, the different things you can do is impressive. If they add targeting to the sequel then we could be discussing an all time classic.

How did the story fee? Idk all of it but I got bits and pieces from watching on stream and whatnot
Really loving this. The combat and visuals are amazing. The story is a bit flat though, does it pick up at the end of Act 1 and onwards?

It’s refreshing, I’m mostly a Nintendo player and in-depth stories really isn’t their thing with games. Sucker Punch did a good job of going in-depth with the main character so far (still in the beginning stages).

I feel, I mainly play Nintendo as well but appreciate good story telling or at least good world building. Glad to hear it has those components. You think the game set up well for a sequel?

I think there will be a sequel regardless because this game is getting positive feedback like you mentioned. If your speaking as from a story standpoint, it’s tough for me to tell since I’m still early in the game. From a gameplay perspective there is room for improvement as we discussed.
Aside from some graphic inconsistencies and wonky camera at time, this game is amazing.
