For sure I think I just had the wrong expectations or misremembering the first game, need to go back and replay. Like the line “we’re trying to stop ragnarok” feels a little cheesy when you compare it to the first game’s ultimate goal of trying to spread the mother’s ashes but obv this will still be very character driven. Probably just a weird line out of context snipped for the trailer, and it probably fits atreus’s character too still being a bit starry eyed and naive

It’s silly to get mad about it but I would have preferred if she was an Egyptian god since that was already established and would overall make more sense. I think that would have been really cool to just keep expanding with the world building and that’s a great excuse for more diversity too. I’m not gonna lie I did laugh in the trailer when she was the big reveal after the title drop, if felt sort of cynically deployed in that way like “look what we did”. But regardless I’m excited for her character. Games gonna be great.

Yeah itll be better no doubt on ps5. I'm just bitter that they are making it cross gen because that's what's holding the game back and why it looks so similar to the last game graphics wise. Still gonna be amazing though just frustrating

Yessir they do and especially with a PS5 Pro coming out in 2023 or 2024.

And yeah I don't imagine the one coming in 2026 been on PS4 too. But there should be a PS5 Pro out by 2023 or 2024 so it'll be running on both PS5 and PS5 Pro with the PS5 Pro version of it looking better, having a higher framerate and loading faster plus maybe some extra stuff only possible on it. But after that game is out so are they or well they should be done with Norse mythology
