Yea I don’t think you’re playing it the right way bruh lol ….
You don’t have to walk in circles, just keep going through the glowing doors
And this isn’t for speed running, it’s a roguelite mode , and it has a story and everything
It’s kinda like God of War 2.5
eh theres really not that much story tbh
roguelite the new br?

You think so? I haven’t beat it yet, but it addresses a good amount of Kratos’ backstory, and shows how much he’s grown. There’s enough story there to stay invested
It definitely has more story than most people expected

i like that it finally talked about past plot stuff, but it's light. i think the premise works v well tho
Might have to p**** out and lower the diff because the last Tyr fight with the javelin throw is f***ing my s*** up
Finally beat Valhalla on Give Me Mastery (the equivalent of GMGOW or the highest difficulty)
Took a lot of runs and upgrading but I finally did it
Def one of the most challenging and rewarding games I’ve played, def makes my all time fav DLC list
The story doesn’t have a brand new plot or anything but the personal journey Kratos goes on is compelling and relatable and it ties the themes from the original trilogy together with the Norse saga pretty well
Young Kratos skin is fire!
Never finished my NG+ GMGOW run so I’m gonna do it with the new skin and the blade of Olympus
Overall fantastic DLC for an already fantastic game
Bravo Santa Monica studios
Just started this couple hours in combat is kickin my ass man, don't recall it being this difficult in the first game
doesn't help that I'm smacked while playing either
I played through the first tyr fight but couldn’t go on any longer. I just don’t think this games combat is conducive to a rogue like experience. It’s better as a power fantasy where you consistently grow stronger and find preferred abilities to use through a story.
Jaffe is such a clown
https://twitter.com/80level/status/1736642455921909789I am late on this but I think if a creator wants not every single character to have some moral reawakening thats not a terrible thing. We need more gaming characters that are just that characters. They don't all have to be overly human. People can emotionally connect with either or it can better serve gameplay without breaking game logic to sometimes remain a terrible human being.
25 hours in f*** this game. combat piss me off too often feel underpowered, finally get the spear s*** weak too
Exploring is cool

200 strength 208 defence
Lvl 4 axe and blades almost maxed out skill tree, certain enemies still eat it up like its nothing
Get good?
I'm def more a casual player but never had this hard a time on normal difficulty in a game ever, might be getting too old for this s***
First time playing this.
Man, the scene where Kratos seems lost and simple he wanna go to sleep and he throws the blades on the floor, he feels powerless for the first time. No god, titan or monster put him in this weak feeling. The love for his son did this.
Amazing and mature writing.

Just started this today! Super excited to be finally playing this as I loved the first one but thought all the bosses were recycled and 3 hours into ragnarok I’ve already met like 3 insane mini-bosses I’m already loving this
Also loving all the puzzles so far I just wish Atreus would stfu with his immediate hints??? Is there a way to turn it off I couldn’t find a specific setting for that and I won’t google anything remotely related to that game until I finish the story to avoid accidental spoilers and youtube algorithm goofs but if anyone knows I’d appreciate it

I don't think you can tone down the hints, not sure why

That’s kinda dumb, he legit tells me what I’m supposed to do as soon as I meet the puzzle like he isn’t giving me a chance
