I don’t like to be the one that says this. But go to school for graphic design. You’ll learn more, get feedback and get real world experiences and not just cover art for some independent artist. Take it seriously. It bugs me when people don’t. Graphic design is an important job In today’s society and people think it’s just throwing stuff on insta. What you make directly impacts peoples lives and the way we communicate.

Be pretentious. Study. Research.
I started my program wanting to do layout design / video / photography. Now I’m doing all of that plus UX development and Spacial Computing design. It’s worth it if you actually care. Good luck. I mean that.
