looking for albums that are primarily in Spanish that are extremely good. Prefer more of the singing genres as well as older music, but the newer generation music will work. Please refer the "classic" albums as well
Albums I have listened to that I liked:
Rosalia- El MAL Querer
Aventura- God's Project
Bacilos - Bacilos
ETC
almendra
Enrique Iglesias self titled
idk why I didnt think of him, bout to crank it up soon
Cerati one of the greatest musicians of all time OP, check all his work (Soda Stereo was his band)
Mon Laferte - Mon Laferte Vol 1 (classic) - she's a strong singer. don't know how to explain her more like classic ballad types. Old latin feel mixed with new generation. She's Chilean.
Natalia Lafourcade Discography (getting more GOAT by the second, would rec "Hasta La Ruiz" first) - She has works that have an indie rock vibe to it but she's since grown into one of the best singers around. a lot of her discog has been redone into more traditional styles). Mexican
Nina Pastori Discography (2000's pop-flamenco). Spanish
Recent years:
Maria Jose Llergo - Sanacion (New Flamenco - kinda like a avant gard version of what Rosalia was doing her first 2 albums. Somewhat more dedicated and experimental). Spanish
Lucia Fernanda - Yelem (latin pop - good singer). Mexcian
ILe - Almadura (great revamp of traditional latin genres. Has a street feel to it too). Puerto Rican
C Tangana - El Madrileno (one of the notable releases from Spain this year. Has a rap background but was more latin folk, rock and flamenco this time)

This man is one of the greatest you could ask for. His drumming and lead vocals are incredible. What a run of a band to be able to see it through the end. 😎
Here's a spanish indie playlist I follow @op
