replayed them all last year, 2018 is by far the best

narrative wise its not even close im sorry, there's so many scenes in 2018/Ragnorak I rewatch constantly.

All the og games hold up pretty well with 3 obviously being the best but even tho Kratos' sacrifice is one of the sickest moments ever a lot of the pandora s*** is just bogged down by the late 2000s idea of what a 'deep' story is.

I'd go 2018 > 3 > ragnorok > 2 > 1, havent played ascension bc no ps3 and i refuse to stream it

just the premise of 2018 is just the best f***ing s*** ever. like fulfilling your wifes/moms dying wish to spread her ashes imo even when you hit a roadblock its always compelling

it sucks that a lot of people never finished ragnorok but I dont blame them bc the first half is just so damn aimless, even on a replay knowing what comes I was getting bored but once it gets going its fire

Norse just feels like you're exploring the bones of the mythology after it's already happened

Like cmon my nigga, kratos climbed that titan to get to Pandoras box for like....days? Weeks? The sheer scale of those games were truly unmatched sometimes

That first level of gow3 where you and the titans are battling all of Olympus was insane

used to demo to friends the whole game up to defeating Poseidon and it blew everyone away. still impressive imo....would die happy if we got 1 and 2 remade in the gow3 engine.
