Overall I liked the episode and the John/Zoe ending and what it meant for John's character growth. But I thought the road to reach that spot felt rushed and clunky.
John getting burned alive -> healed -> easily escaping Macon's compound felt extremely rushed.
The big John/Hal confrontation felt a bit unearned too and imo came too soon. It needed more build up.... maybe one more episode.
Hal jumping into a major battle with low ring charge also felt irresponsible. It felt like the plot needed his ring to be low on power for him to end up where he does instead of it being woven into the narrative more naturally.
I wish we got more exploration of Zoe and Macon - they literally spent years together and yet their last farewell to each other felt like a story obligation.

I don’t think he jumped into battle with low ring charge he just used a lot of it to protect people in the city.

Hmm the idea makes sense, but I don't think the episode communicated it very well. Hal goes from seemingly fine to almost out of charge after a few big saves, so we’re just left to assume those use up a massive amount of power.

Zoe did say “i’m gonna force him to use all the rings power then kill him”

Ok fair I must have missed it with so much else going on in the episode.
I don’t know s*** about green lantern lore, but like that justice league cartoon had a manhunter in it, so like are there more of them?

Man hunters are synthetic police made by the guardians. Martian Manhunter is a specific alien from mars
