Colloquially when people say spectacle they are referring to BIG and EPIC and FLASHY scenes that inspire awe

you said you wanted more constructs throuhgout the show. I am saying even if they had 5 constructs every five minutes of the show that would not improve the writing and the drama of the show or make it more comic faithful

I dont thnk people are dumb for wanting a suit and for him to have a green light around him. Using constructs randomly when that goes against the character and the writing of limited charge everything we have seen in the show so far. Which was a clear given reason for why characters would only use constructs when they needed to. Yeah what do you want me to call that ?

Especially when we know we will get constructs in a upcoming movie with a much larger budget

this is a tv show that they expected to do okay but not 19 million viewers good. Those viewers change the budget for the next season. This is always how television works. Many shows that are special fx heavy their first season with crazy budgets do not make it long at all.

I think if he thought Noah killed Hal then he killed Noah out of revenge with no " Hal wouldnt want me to turn you in ". Then she reacts knowing she did it . Would have actually worked better for me than what occurred. John would have operated on emotion just as she operated on emotion. Both costing them the people they care deeply about. It's funny how the discourse round this show is that people wanted lanterns to morph into a different show than the identity it established with its premise and the first few episodes. It's the opposite of what people wanted for wandavision. I dont think its bad to want more visual spectacle or grand shows from the show but using it as a knock on it isn't the right critique

the show is called lanterns for a reason. Its the build up on a exponentially lower budget to get to where he is a developed character in the movies he cameos in and hopefully eventually his own movie not limited to television earth bound lantern or not.

It was worth it for him to have a 8 hour origin vs just pop up in the movie for a quck cameo or a mr terrific one off scene of just spectacle

The planet is not a Lanterns element. A random desert landscape has nothing to do with Green Lanterns. If they said that s*** was Arizona you wouldn’t think twice about it
