The last two episodes being emotional has nothing to do with them being boring. Episode 3 was emotional and it was fantastic

I didnt like episode 3 for a multitude of reasons. Which I discussed in here but none of them were lantern things . There are many parts of episode 3 I would forgive if they took time to resolve them later in the season. But instead they just did a time skip and auto resolve all his issues with his family off camera. Which to me is a disservice to the characters.

As I have said if you find the emotional climax of a show boring and the episodes that are written by the same people as the pilot. The main creators of the show. The show may not be for you. There are other shows to watch.

I am not going to Doomsday to critique the writing . I am going for hype and aura moments. This show is not hype and aura moments. It is focused on emotional moments. Always has been based on the showrunner and writers they choose for the majority of the episodes.

Comic die hard fans are kind of annoying because this is a different medium. This has to appeal to people who didnt read the comics and will never read the comics more than it has to cater to you. 19 million viewers isnt from comic readers. We have users in here who havent read the comics. The comics is not the bible. Yes there will be references and things from it. While at the same time most accept there will be changes from comics and just want a good story. So for multiple days we can be discussing the story and story choices of the tv show and users on twitter and on here are like "oh well the comic has more this " "the comic they wouldnt do that". This is its own universe . this show has been in development for nearly a DECADE. Could have easily been cancelled and been so much worse. If you want to read the comic read the comic.

Iron Man never had the same face as Doctor Doom in the comic but you already have your ticket purchased. You returned to theaters for encore for 4 minutes of content. This is a show on streaming that isnt costing you that much to watch but you are dissecting it to smithereens not even for its writing but for your level of entertainment and to call it boring . I find plenty of shows and movies boring or not entertaining to me based on my emotional investment in the writing. You know what I do ? I turn them off and watch something that is for me. Rather than act as if complaining on the internet generally saying "this is boring " "this is mid" "where the constructs" will lead to the writers being like "OMG WHY DIDNT WE THINK OF FAN SERVICE LETS CHANGE THE ENTIRE COURSE OF THE SHOW TO SERVE THEM "

on topic they are cooking Tom King for this and are assuming he killed someone. While its good he is against the prison system I dont think Hal going to prison for 10 years was really that necessary and I think it kind of just got all the Hal fans upset

1. Absolutely zero Green Lantern stuff
2. Hal is actually dead? Sinestro’s comments maybe say otherwise, but he seems dead af right now

Liked 80% of the show but “the show may not be for me” because I found the finale underwhelming

I loved the first 6 episodes, thought the 7th was okay, and thought the finale was underwhelming
