lol glad others are laughing at how he moved his arms when sprinting. Bro was sprinting like tom cruise
I think the lady he f\*\*\*ed is an alien because she interrogates him and he just blindly believes her. Wouldn't even be shocked if she killed Hal
Can you spoiler and say the connections ? I dont undestand what you mean about conencted to outer dcu
Guy Gardner making a cameo. them retconning the appearance of metahumans (3 years in superman) to not count for green lanterns...things like that

i'm thinking the same thing but The whole militia is actually pro-alien and the one who exploded was a Darkstar

True that is a full retcon. I mean but gunn has been doing a lot of retconning . How he will make it all make sense whatever but clayface being the same clayface as suicide squad also baffling. I mean even the fact that in 2026 will John say "okay superman is an alien that was sent to earth to do exactly what the villains of the past were can I trust him". I dont feel like Superman conclusion fully still addressed that he cant be trusted still . Even if Lex is much more evil.

Its still so all over the place with how they just talk to lanterns no one tries to kill them to try to get the ring for their own power. I mean eventually possibly why he killed but I mean in general he just so chill walking around being a lantern.
Some of the pacing and move through episode 1 was solid but I just want to get more into the show. Wish s*** was 2 hours a week damn near but we will get to discuss it for 2 months

yeah totally Superman was great, but didn't have a ton of resolution. arguably that's to setup man of tomorrow but this dcu needs some answers cause there are a lot of questions hanging around
in non-spolier territory aaron pierre was a great john. need more of him in 2026 to see the different shades of john's life (will he be an architect???) but overall i liked him as a young questioning trainee.
hopefully hal will fully instill that he always needs to question authority

Nah the appearance of metahumans wasn't 3 years before superman it was 300 years before superman
3 years before superman was just when superman announced himself

Oh yeah He was good with what he was being given I think we have just not seen enough of his personality or him being a human being outside of wanting to be a lantern

I wonder how they draw shared knowledge if its like Pluribus or something.
I wonder if there is going to be a big action set piece, can’t imagine there won’t be when casting Aaron Pierre.

I mean we see a bit of one in the preview for the rest of the season
Hadn't seen enough about John's dad yet.
Comes across like he either knew Hal himself or might have failed the question with Abin Sur first, then raised his son to be a prospective candidate. Wasn't mad they watched TV, only needed to hear "Hal" when questioning what GL's name was, and then its revealed he's been shooting apples off his head while asking the exact same question GL's are asked.
Then when he has troubles with Hal in 2016 he calls his dad to report what happened lol. This is all very manipulative from how the ring usually selects a successor
