With a bigger population that has 150% more density in the population, as well as being the first exposed so they had more time for it to spread. We had 10 times the deaths by April 2020 and now have 150 times the deaths. They only reported 100 deaths from April to November

The US government doesn’t even have the capacity to do much besides send troops places. Institutions here have been gutted and privatized for profit so thoroughly that they couldn’t do it if they tried. The extent of their reaction to covid was, again, billions for corporations at the expense of the little guy

Instead of handling COVID strongly and successfully like China, the US waffled over arguments about civil liberties and just ended up sending more billions to the billionaires
