GTA radio stations were hilarious. Stop pretending like they didn’t add to the unique charm of these games. The main writing team at rockstar is gone. The people who made even something as recent as RDR2 are gone. Saying this is a positive change to own the “edgelords” or whatever is stupid. People liked the personality of GTA games, removing that is bad.
Ah yes, I will pretend to not be even a little bit disappointed that a beloved game franchise is losing its personality so that I can seem more mature
The cardinal rule is to never doubt rockstar when it comes to GTA don’t do it that’s a sin
GTA was never really meant to be a funny game so idk why people are tripping. San Andreas and Vice City had funny moments and even those were pretty serious games, as far as Grand Theft Auto takes anything serious. Idk if this means anything. The development sounds like s*** tho.

Like @HeyFella said, most of R*’s talent is gone so we’re in uncharted waters here
GTA without the parodying hurts it alot. It’s one of the things that makes GTA, GTA.
Yeah there’s d*** jokes, but there’s a lot of genuine funny stuff throughout all the games.
not surprised considering how sensitive people are these days
eh, I'd blame capitalism pushing Rockstar's talent out of the company over whiny ass neolibs. Ever since GTA Online got as big as it was, they've been really stingy with their wallets.

It’s been known for its parody though, since III. It’s part of the charm of these games
IV was not that funny to me so if it's like that then
These games are definitely not serious though, they have serious moments yes, but these games are goofy as hell

I mean, that's what I'm saying. Less edgy or funny is vague when you're talking about GTA 5: It's not like the one before that didn't have comedy and Nico's story played it pretty straight for the most part. Meanwhile, you got FBI ops with Michael and kooky d*** dealer s*** with Trevor while Franklin is out here towing trucks and having everyone turn on him because he's rich. I got bigger fears for the development team and Rockstar's future, but I expected this after how big of a story GTA 5 had, imo.
GTA V humour is really jarring to me. Guess that was what they were going for with LA and all but definitely wasn't for me

Same I feel like that’s why I never really liked GTA V that much, s*** was like a family guy movie
GTA V story was piss poor, corniest s*** man Michael's family was not it at all but i get what they were doing
Franklin's story needed more depth instead of shoehorning a hood black dude (and his clown friend) into the story to pander to whoever
and nasty ass Trevor who woulda got taken out so early on IRL for his loose lips and even more unpredictable actions, probably as soon as he showed up at Michael's it woulda been over lmaoo
need a serious vibe for sure, GTA 4 was much better and even Vice City had a more serious cinematic tone
GTA 5’s story is actually way more sophisticated than people give it credit but it’s not worth debating about. People misremember 4 as being more serious and less focused on satire just because the color pallet is grey. The Statue of Liberty in that game is literally Hillary Clinton with a coffee cup.
