GTA V was the definition of edgelord s*** and not in the good way. They were trying way too hard to preach from a soapbox, and the characters they were using as the proxies for their messages just did not fit because none of the characters had redeeming qualities, which is why it all came off as corny and hypocritical most times. There's a middle ground that has been missing from the series, and I hope they find it again with GTA 6.

I think if they still have some of those elements it’s fine. a lot of niggas will say gta 4 was grim as hell like the radio stations n s*** weren’t goofy. Either way, I still have faith in rockstar even though they f***ed up the remasters
