There's a possibility they show a scripted teaser or something, they could've done it till now

An example I could think of at the moment is Death Stranding being teased 2016 and it came out 3 years later

They could do a teaser this Fall and still drop 2024-25 it's fine

It's actually normal waiting time since their last game I'm not one of those people that trip over the wait times because I count from 2018 not earlier

I think they are on schedule. I think this generation slow and many want GTA VI next year but really as you said could be 2024. Generation won't truly kick off til 2024 even while reality and society is going through a lot right now.

That's my point tho, it wouldn't be late per se when you're counting RDR2

2018 to 2024 let's say is not too bad for making two massive open world games with a lot of side quest activities not just copy pasted but interactive & a lot of random NPC moments
