To be fair gunna was able to promote his album even if it was minimal and was able to record new music. Thugs album was vaulted songs with no promo and making no noise. The fact that he sold as much as he did is a pretty big accomplishment

Like y'all are trying to push this narrative of Gunna being this underdog so bad and that he was blackballed by the industry when in reality all of that is just means a few rappers and producers don't want to work with him or repost his music on their social medias because THEY have a stance when it comes to some street s*** that was crossed.
YSL/300 (the label) was never gonna terminate the contract of an artist as popular as Gunna just cause he told so the fact that so many people bought into that like Thug was some big label executive who can pull moves like that was real funny. Like they still have to seek out a potential massive return on investment for an artist like that and Thug is probably still seeing money from signing Gunna as a finder's fee so it's not really an L at all lmaoo
I just think the corniest s*** is civilians in both ways acting so strongly in a stance of whether what Gunna did was right or wrong cause there's no reason someone in the suburbs should be THIS invested in the detailings of a life they'll never have to live
