so you took 5 minutes out of your day to project about a thread you assumed was projecting. I don't care about street nonsense. It's 2023. Clown behavior from you.
If you didn't care about "street nonsense", you wouldn't be making unnecessary self-righteous threads about Gunna like you were on the stand with him
have a good day tho
Thug needs the book thrown at him for not only trying to get other rappers to diss gunna but also following up with a trash tape

Is that you in the pfp

i quite clearly typed trash not sure how that can be misconstrued with the word mid

Idk man you’re the one who misspelled mid idk how you managed it
gunna just doesn’t miss at all
even as a thug stan he has songs that aren’t easy to like and has always been divisive
even without the ysl trial going on gunna would still be outselling thug by probably even more tbh
I'm a massive Thug fan but honestly haven't returned to the album since the weekend of release. It's a shame because there's hardly any Thug tracks or leaks that I don't f*** with. This project just felt soooo tacked together

Yea you can clearly tell it was just tacked on leftovers from his vault. Which isnt a bad thing but gunna came through with a more interesting body of work imo.
He pulled off a record with No feats, sucessfully stuck to a meaningful theme and took advantage of a topic. While rapping so good he carried the beats instead of the other way around. With authenticity, he wasnt concerned with commerciality
We gotta give gunna his props and not be slaves to the originators.
To be fair gunna was able to promote his album even if it was minimal and was able to record new music. Thugs album was vaulted songs with no promo and making no noise. The fact that he sold as much as he did is a pretty big accomplishment
im responding to "why ppl are extra hard on thug". he wanted all the smoke
not a surprising post at all, coming from the poster voted Most Likely To Be Akademiks’s Account in the yearbook
why would i go down with the ship if u dropping MID
I f*** w Gunna but I haven’t bumped his new s*** out of respect for Thug
I need to learn more about their whole situation

I didn't even listen to the Gunna album, only heard it in snippets through reaction videos, but I can tell there's more substance in it and it actually feels like a real person writing the lyrics compared to the AI level of performance on some of the Thug tunes
Gunna been better than Thug for years tho
it wasnt as evident cuz they were collabing too much, u couldnt tell who was pulling the weight till they seperated (i could, duh)

i think the worst part is the fact the drake album really might have gotten pushed back because of it

Exactly. Gunna was concerned with making an album that expressed what he was going through and put alot of emotion in it. Unfortunately thug didnt have a chance to do that for obvious reasons.
Gunna simply had more of a chance to make the better album and he took advantage

Gunna will never be as talented but he’ll always be more consistent than thug ever could sadly but that’s kinda the fate when you’re pushing the boundaries
I just wanna point out I was bringing up the fact Thug’s album was gonna some bs held together by duct tape before the album dropped and I got hated on
Stupid f***s

Yeah it's an unfair comparison but Thug's album was always destined to flop unless it genuinely came from him in the present. I can't wait for the project he creates if he ever gets out
the thug album was purely a way to get him some cash for them lawyer bills. props to drake and others for helping with it, but never expected any sort of quality. dude is locked up
Oh u went rolls royce car?
Oh u went rolls royce truck!?
I honestly forgot about that one, fair call
