Unfortunately they outdid themselves with the flood stuff and if they ever did a flood horror game I’m there

All of these levels are hellish

And the proto gravemind looks unbelievable

Would be cool If they did dlc on post chief/flood stuff - hoping this does well regardless so we can get Halo 2 and 3 in the same vein.

really love the subtle animation when you gib a flood and you see tentacle appendages inside the body connecting the limbs together flail around before dying

yeah man idk the protogravemind looks sickening the fact that they modeled it growing its face with mouth and teeth with keyes at the base whew, my only gripe is on cea they modelled other faces stuck in its back and after looking at this one for 10 mins i havent seen any other identifiable bodies

idk man im a sucker for flood stuff and after being cucked of seeing them truly on display for almost 20 years this is soooo fresh to see. so hyped they ditched the glowing orange goop hw2 art style for them too and made it grotesque again

all flood levels are absolute highlights here and to me is worth the price of admission. they executed them so well and 343 guilty spark through keyes are forever going to be the definitive ways to play these missions from now on. great horror elements and atmosphere

Still crazy to me that they even named the studio 343, after a character Bungie created Their whole identity, even their name, is based on the works of Bungie. And it was all new people, not like a bunch of Bungie people left to form this studio

The bonus missions sucked tho. Way too much defeat all enemies before moving on. No way to speedrun these and was just 10 arenas in a row
