Halo MCC was legit released broken and took many years to fix and restore faith in the series.

Splitgate has a really good chance at overtaking Halo in the arena shooter genre. As long as they listen to fans and make it have a lot of replay value they could squeeze themselves into the mix.

You just never know with these F2P games. I played Splitgate when it had 1k player base and now it’s at 10 million downloads. I think it’s time to possibly capitalize on the mistakes 343 is making right now and has been since they got put in place to work on Halo.

It’s a free to play halo available on PC and console day one . Game play seems to be great and it’s going to have hella multiplayer content (based on data mine), majority of casual players will traffic to the game regardless of COOP and Forge . More realistically splitgate is competing to maintain itself . Not compete with halo since halo will do just fine .

the campaign coop is facing major bugs but works 100% for single player runs

the multiplayer will be finished

i never used Forge, not a big loss

i can admit that YES these things should be there at launch but idk if it will matter

honestly if apex can last long, then splitgate might slip in some room for where Halo falls. I haven't played the game, but it looks fun.
