Free to play, no battle royale, ranking system problems, no forge at launch, no custom games at launch, no coop at launch . S*** was kind of doomed. Should have let them fully launch single player then have time to shift entire focus to multiplayer. Then back to single player for expansion or DLC. If necessary bring in other studios to help because Halo is one they really needed to land. With the many creative directors and people leaving though. This one felt doomed for a while. Like they couldn't get that signature halo feel again

Also dropping it on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and X must have been a pain in the ass

Seems like move would be launch Xbox Series S and X then later for PC and never for Xbox One

Enjoying myself but I wish the maps were better. They fkn scream CoD built maps.

no reprecussions? they fired people from 343 lol. they had layoffs recently. Multiple creatives already left or shuffled around. 343 being a Halo only factory was doomed either way. they should have been able to do some passion projects to figure s*** out because they were not in any sort of groove. They lost what made the original games great . When they should have in many ways refocused on that. Apparent single player was solid though

Halo in this climate can’t hold a flame to any AAA PS exclusives honestly, no matter how good it could’ve been

multiplayer wise Fortnite , call of duty, apex, valorant, destiny domination. the hunger for constant content has obliterated the old model of a game with multiplayer then map pack support over time. If you don't give users constant content and things to unlock they drop it quick. Forge or a map creator of some kind needs to come with all games that want to survive a long time . Give players the power of creation. I am wondering how factions 2 will go for Sony.

different lanes. If Halo multiplayer felt as good as 3 did at the time. A good exclusive multiplayer experience is entirely different high than all the narrative games in the world Sony drops
