so far 343 seems to have the best balance with a live service right now. Only time will tell but between battle passes never expiring , you not being able to buy tiers and plenty of free items and gameplay earned items. I dont think we will be screwed .

sprint being added in reach pretty much killed it to the point where they tried to make a MLG gamemode without sprint, bloom, armor abilities and it still died off

Sprint alone isn’t a game killer (COD is MLG’s poster child like you said) so you have to assume it’s the game

But Reach had a lottt more glaring issues than sprint when It first came out. (Tho sprint is and always will be completely unnecessary to core Halo gameplay so it certainly didn’t help) It didn’t even LOOK like the Halo we all knew at the time.

Players didn’t wanna play, viewers didn’t care to view, and by the time No Bloom No Sprint entered the settings (my last MLG event in 2012 ) it was already a dying endeavor that MLG sunk too much money into with little to no return

So we (Halo players) got dropped after two NBNS events in the middle of the 2012 season lmao
