papawheelySprint alone isn’t a game killer (COD is MLG’s poster child like you said) so you have to assume it’s the game
But Reach had a lottt more glaring issues than sprint when It first came out. (Tho sprint is and always will be completely unnecessary to core Halo gameplay so it certainly didn’t help) It didn’t even LOOK like the Halo we all knew at the time.
Players didn’t wanna play, viewers didn’t care to view, and by the time No Bloom No Sprint entered the settings (my last MLG event in 2012
) it was already a dying endeavor that MLG sunk too much money into with little to no returnSo we (Halo players) got dropped after two NBNS events in the middle of the 2012 season lmao
