The radio bait songs aren’t as strong as they were on Damn tbh

But it has some good album cuts

It’s a 7/10 for me

Haven’t listened to this album in years, and dove back into it today. Man, this album really is a beautiful piece of art. At the time it dropped, I really dismissed it since it wasn’t the typical Kendrick album. It had very unique production and the subject matter was going way over my head. I wasn’t ready for something this introspective. After listening today, this is going back into the rotation and I have a deep appreciation for what he was going for here. Can’t wait to see what he has in store for us, hopefully this year.
