I was thinking the other day about the scrapped plotline for a Jason X trilogy. The plan was for the 2nd installment to feature Uber Jason crash landing in a futuristic Blade Runner style city. He would wreak havoc around town and the characters would “beat him” by sending him back to his own time. This would lead to the third movie, where Uber Jason arrives to the past and is pitted against his own past self. Jason Vs Jason
There was also Jason takes LA, which would have seen Bloods and Crips teaming up to fight Jason
What scrapped sequels y’all got?
monsters inc 2 takes place a year later when mike and sully get lost in the human world trying to find boo for her birthday only to realize she’s now an old woman since time passes differently but she still recognizes him as kitty

Roth said the film would have begun with the revelation that Forrest Junior (Haley Joel Osment) had AIDS, the same disease that killed his mother Jenny Curran, played by Robin Wright.
“People wouldn’t go to class with (Forrest Jr.) in Florida," said Roth. "We had a funny sequence where they were (desegregation) busing in Florida at the same time, so people were angry about either the busing or (their) kids having to go to school with the kid who had AIDS. So there was a big conflict.”
“I had (Forrest) in the back of (O.J. Simpson's) Bronco,” Roth told Yahoo, referencing the infamous 1994 car chase. “He would look up occasionally, but they didn’t see him in the rearview mirror, and then he’d pop down.
“I had him as a ballroom dancer who was really good, he could do the (rotation) ballroom dancing. And then eventually, just as sort of a charity kind of thing, he danced with Princess Diana,” he added. (She died in 1997.)
21 jumpstreet men in black crossover
an actual cloverfield sequel
Yes to both of these, especially the 21/MIB movie. An idea that is so outlandish it works perfectly
Gonna need more info lmao
“Forrest Gump ran out of road after Tom Hanks refused to continue his great North American trek through history. “I’ll be saying ‘box of chocolates’ again about the same time that Sean Connery says, ‘I’m Bond. James Bond,”’ Hanks told Entertainment Weekly in 1995. Despite Hanks’s lack of interest, Dune screenwriter Eric Roth was tapped to write the sequel, but in an ironic twist of events, American history interfered. In Roth’s version, Forrest found love after Jenny’s death with a Native American woman who would die in the Oklahoma City bombing. After the Twin Towers collapsed, Roth’s third act was rendered too ill timed to make it to the big screen.”

Cloverfield sequel is coming though
Blade 2 with Morbius if I’m not mistaken. I could be wrong but I’m sure that could’ve happened.

Lol that sounds like it would be in pretty bad taste
I guess an argument could be made that the goal would be to put a human face to a victim of a tragedy, so maybe could be acceptable depending on how it was actually executed on screen
