The show is automatically worth it because it expands on all the stuff that were cut out from the books in the original movies

Not to mention how flat it looks visually. The first Harry Potter film is so cozy and warm. It’s cinematic comfort. This looks like it was shot on an iPhone.

I felt that way about the shots of pre-Hogwarts Harry (in the “muggle” world), but a lot of the shots of them in Hogwarts gave me those warm vibes personally
