sometimes i feel like he's just trolling, but given the history, he's dead serious
i felt like a f***in fool. I remember both circulating on mixtapes prior to the release of the album. I was hyping them up like "he's back" but both flopped and I didn't even acknowledge it. I immediately started listening to graduation and pretended like I wasn't just hyping up mid months ago lol s*** was mad embarrassing. never cared for either of them too, especially not ayo technology lol
I get money was a hood classic 😂 s*** was on every rap station played at every bbq that summer

Ayo tech seems to get a lot of love on here but it’s beyond corny to me! I’d actually love to hear 50 back in his bag though, something like banks just did, f*** the mainstream, back to the underground! Will never happen though

I probably didn't even know who Madonna was at that time

That song was a desperate cry for mainstream appeal and acceptance from white folks that prefer Pop over Rap. Even his flow on that song sounded corny af. It legit sounds like 50 hated the beat but it was really a fish out of water type of situation.

Agreed, it’s the type of track I generally hate on paper, I think he lost a lot of his “street” following with that one, prior to that he was one of the more credible street rappers out (candy shop aside ) that wasn’t my kinda track either but it was done a lot better than ayo was

the massacre would've been another classic if it didn't have so much fluff. those type of records weighed it down so much, I still love that album but because of songs like baltimore love thing, ryder music, position of power, i don't need em, etc. not sweetness like candy shop, disco inferno, so amazing, etc. but i understand that 50 had to do what he had to do. i ain't mad at him
I like that song
@Aftermath this is exactly who 50 made the song for. notice that blahh is not the biggest rap fan on ktt lol

your favorite rap is pop rop and you've admitted this a number of times. there's nothing wrong with that either. to each its own
one of the biggest hits of the 2000's was a madonna song
!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EDwb9jOVRtULook at her, still appropriating well into old age
Was never a Madonna fan but Hard Candy stays in rotation because of Neptunes/Timbaland.
I would have to agree with op, she’s a household name sure but people really don’t talk about her like that these days.

piggy bank gets a pass because of the disses but that has arguably one of the worst beats on that album lol gatman and robin is so bad that i basically erased it from my memory and didn't even remember it until you brought it up lol
She managed to stay relevant- actually relevant- for 3 decades. She had the 80’s on lock, was still huge in the 90’s, and had hits throughout the 2000’s (including having one of the biggest albums of 2005). Had top 10 hits consistently, spanning 24 years. Very few artists have ever done that.
Prior to MJ’s death his solo top 10’s ran from 1971-2001 (an insane 30 year run, made more insane considering his first top 10 appearance was 1969 and his last was 2018, almost 50 years apart).
