Update: didn't actually build a bird feeder but I did end up hanging a plant up on my porch. Some wrens built a nest in it, and they're now raising their babies.

He said it was very nice the first two days and his kids loved it but then he has an unofficial guard dog with wings for about a month nigga was huge too
My brother then stopped filling it up after about a week once he realized what was going on to save the other birds & then the hawk finally went away after a full month
The hawk was od just xhillin on his background for one to two weeks straight during the day then the last two weeks it made visits every few days then finally got the hint that the party is over

I've had chickens. It's what you deal with. It took for a year for the hawks to find my chickens. After that we had to give them away cause we didn't want to deal with keeping the chickens cooped up to stay safe

Eggs were so good my guy. Big as hell too. Ask some farmers or fowl owners on your cities reddit to see if they attract that much predators.
