it's really subtle in the second beat but they're credited, my guess would be wiley or someone gave them the individual parts and they took something from the beat. i know wiley seems to have been f***ing with kanye last few years, maybe cos they both hate drake

If anything, Garage & Grime beats were way ahead of their time in terms of bass & the percussion/filler sounds they used. S*** sounds like 2080.
Especially Nasty by Skep lol, which is another famous grime beat if I’m not mistaken.

Yeah. It's Wiley - Morgue.

Wiley put out legendary UK instrumentals in the 2000s. If you haven't heard them check out Eskimo and Ice Rink. Ice Rink was so far ahead of it's time. And Eskimo is one of the most important songs in the scene. Both been sampled and mimicked by everyone from Stormzy to Rudekid to Diplo.

I get why Grime isn't for everyone. But why don't Americans love Garage Garage is so accessible and fun to listen to. it's great club music too

Wiley's beefing with the whole establishment and jewish community now he's said some pretty disgusting things. He got taken off Youtube, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. He was on our national news for like a week. And his biggest best album got taken off streaming services. one of my favourite albums ever.

I'm mad at him for what he said, but at the end of the day you can't understand Grime without early Wiley instrumentals. And he is the most important British artist of the last few decades. We call him 'the Godfather'. Sort of like how Americans called James Brown 'the Godfather'.

Wiley did beef with Skep for a few months. Maybe cos Skep was with Drake and Wiley hates Drake, which i don't get cos i would have thought he'd respect what he did for Canadian music, dave and top boy. But they all made up and JME (skep's brother) said wiley's 'back to normal again', then this whole episode happened
