GONEWhat would revive it? Standards are so much higher it would have to be a new dude that’s essentially the specialties of Drake x Kendrick but on steroids. Either extreme alone won’t even cut it
And that’s not to mention the need for a whole class of new blockbuster rappers
isnt that more or less what jack harlow, keem, JID and co. are supposed to be ? but even on Steroids they arent gonna be better than drake or dot ?

Ye definitely has had good collaborators but Rubin just sat on his hairy ass and told him to cut while sections of Yeezus songs. Entirely possible they could've stretched out to MBDTF lengths originally.

Ideally dudes were supposed to be that, but how many of them could even craft a Best I Ever Had or Swimming Pools? Not in terms of the lanes of those songs, but compositional strength and even vocal delivery, anthems on that level
