It's harder to be a Ye fan in the sense that his antics have gotten more annoying and the quality of his music has dipped.

It's easier to be a Ye fan in the sense that the combination of the internet and his giant fanbase makes finding Kanye West content (official, leaked, or fanmade) is easier than it's ever been.

Nah I think him dropping 808s alienating his fans and then him going on stage and disrespecting a white woman on live tv had far more backlash than the maga thing

and the ever growing toxicity of taylor stans/stan twitter have been going at his neck for a while now. they've been tryna make him a homophobic/anti-abortion/misogynist figure.

I also feel that him diving himself into politics has been very bad for his image as political journalism is a cesspool with smear campaigns and fake news being pretty much their game

i think that as a fan lately it's been pretty frustrating readings some straight up untrue, poorly-evidenced articles about him that would turn some heads even if it wasn't in his name.

I guess one of the harder times cuz of that type of american liberal thinking that Kanye will somehow cause Trump to be reelected, but you should probably be staying away from them anyways
