and the ever growing toxicity of taylor stans/stan twitter have been going at his neck for a while now. they've been tryna make him a homophobic/anti-abortion/misogynist figure.
I also feel that him diving himself into politics has been very bad for his image as political journalism is a cesspool with smear campaigns and fake news being pretty much their game
i think that as a fan lately it's been pretty frustrating readings some straight up untrue, poorly-evidenced articles about him that would turn some heads even if it wasn't in his name.
Even then I still dont think it is as bad, ye was almost black balled due to that incident. This time around it's kinda whatever you see people expressing hate but it's still ye he's known to be controversial
