is “look at me!” by xxx a rage beat
is "if you aint from my hood" by project pat a rage beat
this sound only exists cause of Carti and Art Dealer tbh, it all started with Long Time and evolved form there
WLR inspired so many off brand type beats that people confuse it but those youtube "rage beats" all sound so amateur to me, big difference between those and the original art dealer sound everyone is chasing but just can't find the formula
!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s1MuUVXaysUGreat post man, agreed
Everything Carti inspired is garbage which proves that only Carti can do Carti
Well that’s because Carti is severely overrated and his fans claim all his albums are perfect 10s but in reality it’s just catchy vibe music that doesn’t have the depth to become a dominant sound for everyone else

Carti is overrated a bit by his fans, but the fact still stands that he is the only one who can succeed at what he does. His style is effortless, which is his main draw. Everybody else does his style in a forced way

a tik tok hit for sure
It’s a loud minority hit, I see local street rappers with more views than that song
" rage beats " is the dumbest name and doesn't even fit the sound, s***s just edm sounds with SC rap drums

His and Uzi style ran parallel until WLR
Now all of a sudden Uzi isnt creative and Carti is a groundbreaking artist, he’s more than a bit overrated by his fans

I read that the producers of the sound named it so that’s what we should call them I guess

it's cause of miss the rage, the beat is hard and all but the actual song didn't have the same impact as the instrumental

Difference is that Carti took larger creative risks and doesn’t come off as insecure when it comes to his music. Uzi only slightly switched it up on EA, and then Immediately backtracked n that sound. Now he’s doing everything to appease his fans. Lame s***
Carti is seen as groundbreaking because he does what he wants and keeps s*** exciting. Similar to Kanye in his prime. You never know what you’re gonna get because he just does what the f*** ever

How is it a dumb name when it refers to a specific sound which is Miss The Rage kind of beats
You have a Carti avi like it’s simple
Pierre Bourne says hello this sound would not exist without him
100% his drums and 808 patterns are the foundation but his synths are video game inspired, art dealer synths are more late 90s to early 2000s rave/acid-trance inspired which is what lead us into the s*** these kids are trying to replicate today
