it's literally been 4 months in a pandemic, I could give you a whole list from 2020 lmfao.
So yeah that’s not what the thread is about. 2020 was mediocre with its best albums being not rap. There were some great ones tho.
But it’s April 20something and I’d love even a memorable release date for a great album at this point
This s*** sucks. Guess I was accustomed to having 2 or 3 quality, memorable, focused rap projects a month that made those release nights so fun. No anticipation for anything in a long time

It sounds like you’re dancing around your only metric for a worthwhile album being a blockbuster album with a traditional major label rollout
I mean that’s okay but the lack of that shouldn’t be equated with an absolute lack of quality in the whole genre
