It’s fire at the top, but the bench has definitely been deeper in the past
Industry is recovering from the strike
There is never a “bad” year for movies
It just means you haven’t gone out your way to see good ones
2022-23 was so much worse it ain't even funny. If anything this is the first year since the start of the pandemic where we almost got back to a modicum of quality.
Unless Nosferatu turns out to be a major masterpiece then Furiosa is an easy FOTY for me
Nosferatu is about to blow your socks off, just wait

I remember ppl saying witch was a fluke
"In July 2015, Murnau's grave was broken into, the remains disturbed and the skull removed by persons unknown.Wax residue was reportedly found at the site, leading some to speculate that candles had been lit, perhaps with an occult or ceremonial significance. As this disturbance was not an isolated incident, the cemetery managers were considering sealing the grave. The skull has not been recovered since.,"
Does anybody know where exactly Eggers was in July 2015?
