They could have done it anyway
He probably couldn't have been able to get it up for a woman
Renly had the same problem
Soo joffrey might but even be leanor son
the fact that he had the audacity to go ahead and name him without consulting her
mans was wyling

in the books it's said he wanted to name their first kid joffrey but corlys stepped in like "absolutely f***ing not"
Casting changes aren’t done yet?
The kids get older actors this season too.
I'm crying
Was just about to link this

im excited to read it after this season is done, ppl have been saying that they’ve done a great job so far filling in the blanks
im curious what they'll do with helaena. they already hinted at her clairvoyance/dragon dreams this ep.

Yeah I saw some pics. So we’re still getting another big time jump
Idk if it’s spoiler or not. I haven’t read the books so not plot details

What are dragon dreams?
The constant time jumps are a mistake, especially with how big they getting. It feels like it happens at total random and just skips over what the previous episode is building towards only to basically start over with a whole new set of issues

If I wasn’t itt knowing when to expect a time jump I’d be a little lost tbh

The show would be muchhhh more slower paced plot wise without the jumps though, a lot of characters would have absolutely nothing to do
And tbh I know it feels like certain moments are building to something that could happen immediately after, but this story is all about things building up very slowly over decades

I swear lol cuz all these conflicts get set up then suddenly outta nowhere we jump years ahead and spend half the episode trying to figure out what all went down that we missed during the time skip

You arent really missing any big events. The writers aren't skipping any major happenings in the story trust me
There's a lot of nothing happening within the time skips

I get that for sure but from what other ppl who know the story have been saying, this is all basically still a prologue. So on one hand it does suck to not have more time to build the characters and their relationships up, I’m still glad we’re getting to see all of this set up for the main storyline regardless cause I’m sure it’ll provide a lot of context and have several payoffs for the events to come
I know the time jumps are jarring af. But its really the only way to adapt the Dance of Dragons without skipping backstory and lore

That's why I think it's far more jarring for those of us who didn't read the book and are just going by the story telling without knowing what's next
