The constant time jumps are a mistake, especially with how big they getting. It feels like it happens at total random and just skips over what the previous episode is building towards only to basically start over with a whole new set of issues
Apparently nothing important happens within those 10 years. The time period is referred to as the Red Spring because a lot of major events occur
What are dragon dreams?
prophetic dreams about the future. it's how the targaryens escaped the doom of valyria, while all the other dragon lords died off.
in this episode helaena says some stuff that directly relate to what's about to happen to her siblings.
The hardest part of this show is that everyone is a trash person
Hopeful Corlys doesn’t disappoint too much
That's why I think it's far more jarring for those of us who didn't read the book and are just going by the story telling without knowing what's next
Yea I understand that for sure
All the drama in Game Of Thrones felt directly connected to each other, and we got to see everything happen all in the same time period. It all feels cohesive
But George structured this story completely different . It's a collection of small and big events that slowly build up and lead to chaos.
It's literally impossible to tell this story correctly without time jumps

Um your spoiler didn’t work
It works for me , not sure why it’s not working on your end
yeah weird i've never had that problem before. deleted the spoiler part.
alicent literally has the perfect actress for her adult self
frfr in a single ep olivia cooke has already stolen the show completely
alicent literally has the perfect actress for her adult self
My mom thought it was the same actress
She was like "I noticed they casted a new Rhaenyra but the Queen has the same actress"
I had to explain to her that it was completely different actress, the showrunners just did a great job with casting lmao
the younger actresses were decent enough, but ep6 really highlighted the talent disparity between them and seasoned professionals like cooke and darcy.

Not in Rhaenyras case, the younger version had far more of a natural stand out presence

nah, she was good but in a very "i am acting now" kind of way where you can tell she's reciting lines. i don't think she would have the range to deliver a birthing scene like the one emma did.

i just hope the final casts for their kids live up to expectations cause so much of the story depends on them now

Olivia was a female lead in a spielberg movies so the step up is insane

We have to deal with the runts to carry the story THIS SEASON? even Vikings waited 4 amd a half seasons to dump Ragnars son's on the viewers laps

One of the things that impressed me the most about this ep was that they managed to portray each kid‘a distinct personality in such a short amount time
really interested to see how this plays out, this looks like it’s about to be some multigenerational s*** popping off
