Watched the leak. And went to see the complaints. It makes Aemond’s character more tragic in my opinion but according to people it could change implications to something that happens in season 2\. We already knew dragons will always have a will of their own so I don’t see an issue with that. The complaints are definitely coming from butt hurt fanboys, that easily deductible by how immature the posts come off as. Thought it was a good finale and it manages to make watchers not choose sides.

Honestly, just saw Aemond trending on twitter and checked it out thinking did the episode air early. Luckily I already know what's going to happen otherwise I'd be fuming.

I like the change and people need to remember the book was told from the perspective of spectators/second hand accounts so there's a lot of ways an event can play out. It's not like GoT where we knew exactly what happened.
