This seems kinda odd knowing that
book character daemon and viserys have a brother that will be introduced next season, but is completely ignored during all this lol. even though it sounds like he was present during this in the book?
daemon is much more measured in the books and rhaenyras first act was declaring alicent and otto traitors. there is nowhere near this amount of srife between her and daemon. this is all unneccesary lol
the war does end up tearing their relationship apart, with daemon abandoning her when she needed him most. i think it’s reasonable to assume the first cracks would start to show at the first signs of conflict.
i also think it’s likely that the narrators of the book (who weren’t even present at the time), would try to represent daemon as reasonable and levelheaded and rhaenyra as a crazy b\*\*\*\*. that’s just westeros for you
Why he choking her tho
inner hate for viserys came out
Sending the b******s to winterfell
GOD DAMN THATS A BIG DRAGON

yeah but they went 0-100 real quick with the choking thing. when i say daemon was levelheaded i only meant he didn't push for total war from the start but he and rhaenyra were pretty much in agreement about what actions to take in terms of seige, he was the one who crowned her etc.
i just think the way they are portraying this is an unneeded change. Now the war is going to seem as if its because of Daemons ambition and bloodlust as opposed to Rhaenyra actually wanting to fight for her claim
OH F***
why does baela not have a single line of dialogue
she’s one of the most important characters of the dance and they’re making her a glorified extra
feels very racially motivated
