A trilogy movie set of Tourney of Harrenhal up to Tower of Joy would be fire.

Rewatching now, not a dull moment. S*** happens every ep

Feel like the game of thrones fans I know that call it slow are just spoiled both by the ability to have binge watched the og game of thrones in it's entirety on first watch instead of week by week like this, and tend to forget the first season of game of thrones was mostly character building and plot establishing with little action as well

Just finished my rewatch, so hype for this. Team Black for sure

So this season will have less episodes, BUT we are getting long episodes

70 minutes!

Well this makes the 8 episodes season sting a little less.
I’m super excited for this.

I had already rewatched HOTD two months ago and I couldn't hold back my excitement so I started binging the OG series yesterday.

That first season is just so damn good. It's crazy the amount of foreshadowing that goes on.

As a whole the story in those seasons is a mess but there still some really cool battle scenes and stuff

Watched the first 2 ep last night

Season 5 was shaky but got really good. Season 6 was great. Season 7 was okay but that's when some things started to feel off...and that was the whole show. Wish it was resolved.

In the first season there are no loose ends and every plot point leads to something.

But by the time we get to the final season almost nothing is making sense anymore.

Just shows how very little D and D actually understood GRRM.
