i was gone last week so i caught up on 2 episodes yesterday. both were so good. i think the dynamic between alicent and aemond was incrredible. his ascension to the throne in general was very well done, like in that meeting where they were choosing a regent and he didnt speak until it was decided.

and all the stuff with the smallfolk in this ep was really good too.

the criston cole alicent stuff was good too. him being like "did i not spare you" after having seen the brutality of dragon warfare. and also it's facts that they need a wartime leader. i love alicent and would have liked to see her regain power but the council made the right decision IMO.
