This fanbase is brain dead, I swear

The big action episodes get high ratings, but when the show slows down and gives us tense political drama, it gets way lower ratings

GOT fans don’t actually know what they want. They say they miss when the days when GOT wasn’t all about big set pieces, but then they contradict themselves by calling the slower episodes “boring”

If you re being honest a solid portion of fanbase is just here for dragon on dragon fights

But even by that logic I don’t see how this episode is inferior to last weeks considering the amount of s*** that got set up

There’s for sure a large portion of the fanbase who just wants those big battles

And I think one reason is because GOT started to really garner a lot more fans right around season 7 of GOT. Which is when the show was solely relying on those big moments instead of strong writing . So there’s a lot of people who are just expecting huge action moments from this universe

Another signifier is when you realize that season 7 GOT has actually higher IMDB scores than seasons 5 and 6 lmaooo. People today act like everyone always hated season 7, but that season was highly acclaimed at the time. And people were eating up those big action set pieces that season 7 relied on

You split the blacks and greens apart and you got maybe 3 working brains together

And Daeron appears to be one of those brains by himself

  • Don’t think Daemon’s brain would be capable of gas lighting like this back in S1

He’s wisened up a good bit

    Facts

I’ve had many semi heated debates with friends and family back during season 1 claiming unlike og thrones nothing was happening as if first few seasons of GOT was nonstop wars and battles…then I kinda had to bend the knee to them at season 2s end, but I’m back up now

Definitely in some kind of hibernation. The whole "Sunfyre's DEAD DEAD fr" thing is so forced, no way it isn't just a lead up to him waking up and eating those dudes

Also Meleys was noticeably decaying but Sunfyre looked normal, just sleeping
