so I'm thinking it's one of Erin's uncles that killed her...high chance the younger one is the real father of her child but I feel like John and his son Ryan (who they've made a point to show at least once in every episode I believe looking distant or upset about something) had something to do with her death)...not sure why Dylan, Erin's friend, and that other kid were burning her journals...maybe to disguise the fact that Dylan wasn't the real father so he can continue getting money from the state or something like that
Yeah, last night's episode was wild. Sad to see that cop get killed.
One thing I noticed about that particular scene was, as soon as the kidnapper turned around to try and fix the pipes on the wall so they don't make too noise, Mare and her partner should've pulled their guns out right then and there and told him to "freeze". Instead, they made a vital mistake and gave the kidnapper time to turn back around to get the drop on them (unfortunately her partner ended up paying the price).
These final 2 episodes are gonna be crazy.

Mare would have made the move but she didn't have her gun after being suspended.
She tried to hint her partner into making a move and it tipped off the suspect.

yeah basically goes with the character of Zabel that he was a bit too inexperienced to handle that situation...sucks bc he was a great character but after I realized there's only 2 episodes left or w/e it made more sense (thought we were only halfway through the series at first lol)...Mare not being strapped created an extra challenge and it was cool to see her work her way around the house only to circle back and get Zabel's gun to put the suspect down

Oh yeah, I forgot she didn't have a gun of her own due to her suspension. You right. Sad to see how it played out.
I was bored through most of ep 5 until they really focussed on the case.
She almost smiled for a second. I come from Ammonite and it's the same character pretty much.

Is he inexperienced? He’s a detective.
Is he inexperienced? He’s a detective.
I feel he just wasn’t assertive enough
Too much of a pansy
The way he handled his dinner with Mare said a lot
Is he inexperienced? He’s a detective.
younger dude plus he confessed in that episode that he didn't even solve the big case he's known for solving on his own just used the PI's notes...but yeah not assertive enough for sure
Love this show but the red herrings in this show are almost offensive with how obvious they are. Did they really think we would cast suspicion on the dad 'cause of the way he was talking to his son earlier in the ep?
Oooohh he was talking to his son alone in the room and said "this stays between us" so that means he's molesting his kid probably and that means he's the killer
zabel didnt have to go out like that, as soon as you get a match on the plate and the van you get a warrant and pull up locked and stocked smh

they did a paternity test already
they did a paternity test already
yeah I miswrote that lol I meant destroy evidence of who the real father might be so he can keep custody of the child and get money from the state or some s***...doubt there's anything in there that would prove he killed her and really don't think Dylan did it as big of a douchebag as he is

its over they already proved hes not the father the state knows this

would he lose custody though if they couldn't find out who the real father is?
guess I just don't know what other reason they'd have for burning the journals but guess we'll find out
